History

T.I.T. EUROPE was founded in 1991 under the name of TITGEMEYER ITALIANA SRL as an Italian branch of Gebr. TITGEMEYER GmbH from Osnabrueck founded more than 100 years ago by the Titgemeyer brothers, owners still in the third generation. Since the beginning of the activity it has always worked in the components for industrial vehicles field and in the fasteners field too, with two separate department, creating a wide range of products in its factories in the UK, Czech Republic and Germany.

During the years, besides to establishing itself in the Italian market as exclusive distributor of whole TITGEMEYER group products (Gebr. Titgemeyer Osnabrueck, Titgmeyer UK, Rivetec, TS) and of others big European manufacturers like Koemmerling, Sortimo, Polytop, TIT EUROPE started own internal production of components and accessories for industrial vehicles.

Today, it has been added to the Terni headquarter, a secondary location in Valeggio sul Mincio (VR) and one branch in Bariano (BG), as well as various cooperation with foreign companies.

Thanks to the use of advanced machineries they are manufactured directly, different items such as door retainers, locks for containers, hinges, components for the industrial vehicle and custom-designed products for the general industry.

Understanding customer needs with flexibility and competence is one of the most important strengths of the company; this feature has allowed, over the years, to get important customers belonging to different fields.
